Remember Sheila? She just moved to Guatemala and you can check out her
new blog here. Sheila had this too say about her trip: “This may sound silly, but I really noticed the benefits [of training at EmerFit] while traveling the last few days. Lifting my luggage seemed like a breeze in comparison to past travels.”

Got something to say?

I have a response to a post a week ago about reading good personal development books. I just read the Generosity Factor by Ken Blanchard and S. Truett Cathy. Very good!
Other favorites…Magic of Thinking Big by Dr. David J. Schwartz
Failing Forward by John Maxwell and becoming a favorite is The Slight Edge by Jeff Olsen.
Wow Jenni! Thanks for the suggestions. Now I know another reason why I like you so much. You sound like a self-improvement book nut like me. I added all your suggestions to my Amazon wish list. I have the Magic of Thinking Big on my to-read shelf and I bumped it up in the order based on your recommendation.
They gave us a big list of books to read at our business seminar so I’m trying to read a book a week but I am also trying to study the books more. The balance of those two goals means I am not going quite as fast. I developed a bad habit of reading books too fast.
My most recent favorite is Pragmatic Thinking and Learning by Andy Hunt. It will be published in a few weeks but I have been reading the early access digital version. It is written for software engineers but really applicable to anyone.
We should swap more book ideas some time.
