Tabata Fight Gone Bad

Complete 8 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest of each of the following exercises:

Wall-ball 20 pound ball, 10 ft target. (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump 20″ box (Reps)
Push-press 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

This workout will help you think about your pacing during a normal Fight Gone Bad workout. Like we wrote about last week we all get into habits for pacing our workouts and Tabata can force us to re-evaluate our pacing.

This morning I put up a new business blog post about how many members we have at EmerFit, how many we want, and how we are trying to get there. I thought this info might be useful to all of you who are helping us grow. Check it out here!

Recommend that everyone read Chris’ s entry “check it out here” above. It is critical for all of us regulars to spread the word to keep Chris successful so we can benefit from his expertise. Look forward to new T-shirts with web site and phone number on them.

New t-shirts would be good. We have some pretty creative people in the gym, how about a little t-shirt challenge. Come up with best new t-shirt slogan idea, get a free t-shirt? Just thinking with my outside voice.

I also wanted to comment on the blog from 080909, and name some life changing books. I also read, “Now Discover your Strengths,” and would agree the online assestment is really accurate. I read a lot, but some of the books that forged my elite mind are; “Wild at Heat,” “Waking the Dead,” and “EPIC,” all by John Eldredge. Recently I finished “The Slight Edge,” by Jeff Olson, what an awesome book. “Failing Forward,” by John Maxwell, as well as his “21 Laws of Leadership,” are also must reads. I read a book a few years ago called, “An Ememy called Average,” but can’t remeber the name of the author. So many books…not enough time. Peace Out.
