Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5-5

Coach Rut over at The Fitness Conduit (aka CrossFit Kansas City) puts out a nice blog and a terrific newsletter. In his latest newsletter he linked to this New York Times article on “What Happy People Don’t Do”. From my own experience I would agree with the conclusions stated in the article. I found a bit more detail on the study here.

Ok, seriously. I’m making the goofiest faces in all of those pictures!

Well, who made the faces? I just took the pictures. :-) You do seem good at making funny faces.

That was a good article. The lack of TV at my house would explain my pleasant dispostion all the time, I mean look at that picture of me, no goofy faces, just hap-hap happy to be there in the cold waiting to run four miles my with all of my happy friends.

Then there’s me, trying to fake the fact that I was excited to be turkey trotting that morning! That actually is a really great candid shot of the three of us! And yes, Jenn, I agree, Ayn does rock!!!

Ayn, when will you admit that you are hard core? Goofy face or not, you DEFINE hard core, Eva T has nothing on you.

Ok, fine. Acceptance is the first step. “Hello, my name is Ayn and I’m hardcore.” Now it’s your turn:)
