Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a good break and we look forward to everyone starting to trickle back into the gym this week.
If you are like me you might find yourself pondering some 2009 Resolutions during these final days of the year. There seems to be lots of advice out there these days against making resolutions but I think they can serve a purpose. For some reason I always feel compelled to start new things in concert with the calendar. Sometimes its the first of the week, the month, or the year. It can be a crutch if I’m not careful but also a good motivator. Check out Doug Chapman’s new article on resolutions.
Post your resolutions in the comments. Or if you don’t like that word post your 2009 goals.

My goal for this year is to be in better shape than the last. Also, I’m not going to get sick any more in 2009! I’m sick again, 2nd time in a week:( No FGB for me today….I’m sad.
1) Fitness: Technique, Technique, Technique – I want to know the foundations of the cross fit skills – efficient body motion, proper breathing.
2) Fitness: 1/2 Marathon (anyone in?), 900 lb Crossfit Total, 270 on FGB, 10 minute L-sit, 10 – Muscle ups, 50 pull ups, live through the next Eva, and keep a food journal that the coaches can ask for at any time.
3) Education: Teach an Financial Peace University Class this Spring – anyone want to be weird? (Weird == out of debt) – talk to me if this is interesting: http://www.fpu.com.
4) Family: Build the strength in my Marriage, and the relationship with each of my children. Know them as individuals, nurture them.
5) Have fun during all of this. “The pursuit of excellence is rewarded.” G. Glasman
