Back Squat 2-2-2-2-2

15 minutes max rounds

  • 10 Burpees
  • 10 Knee To Elbows
  • Run or Row 400 meters

We are burning the midnight oil in the back office of EmerFit this week and we were hoping to have the new schedule finalized today but its going to take another day. Rest assured that the only elimination is no more morning Oly class. All the other changes are additions. Friday’s post will also have some info about our new programming and other planned changes.

No comments on Wednesday’s post. Anyone read any of those articles? Do you like suggested reading like that? Anyone going to the talk Thursday night from the author of “Spark”?

Who is a fan of getting coached by your significant other? Thanks to Bill for this photo from FGB IV. Its like couples night on the rowers. More photos and video of FGB IV to come.

Actually, the article on the overhead is good stuff, I am not done yet, I will let you know.

The SPARK stuff looks good, I think Jenni and possibly some staff from Learning Rx may attend.

As usual I was intrigued by well written articles. I liked the discussion about snatch grip deadlifts. Will those be a part of your new programming? The article’s comments about testosterone are also interesting and almost make the case for being a test sample using testosterone with lifting, if one cannot produce it on his own. Seems like Floyd Landis lost his Tour De France medal for that. Keep up the links.

I enjoyed the power output calculator and plan on getting the article associated with it to understand the methodology behind it.

I just didn’t have anything insightful to say, haha.

p.s. there are some photos on the camera I used to film.

I liked the links. Usually look at that kinda stuff if I have the time, thought about going to the spark thing, but the book would probably give me more of what I’m actually interested in, though it is cool that that is going on here in FoCo.

Keep burnin’ the midnight oil, I’m excited about the potential Oly class on Sat. although I’ll probably go climbing instead, it is nice to have the option.

In summary; more is more ;-)

  5. Jenni says:

    Hey Chris,
Went to the Sparks talk tonight. Didn’t make it to Tavelli though. They said the school would let people come tour the facility if we called ahead. That would be fun to see.

I’m looking forward to reading the book. I’m fascinated by the studies that correlate obesity in youth and the decline in cognitive skills.

    Thanks for all the info!
