Meet Adam P
Adam has been training with us since August on 2010 and is a friend of an alumni of Emergent Fitness, Ali. He is from Castle Rock, Colorado and is 23. He Was born to climb and as he said “it’s in his blood”! This past January, Adam had the opportunity to climb Aconcagua, a nearly 23,000 ft mountain in Argentina. He was the only person in his expedition to make it to the summit besides his guide, and he firmly believes that his training at Emergent Fitness allowed him to achieve his proudest accomplishment.
Below, is an e-mail he send while in Argentina. Great Job Adam! The dedication and intensity you bring to your training is like none other. We hope you make your next goal of El Capitan!
From Adam To Brad
$^it was crazy up there. The weather was really bad and only a few people made the summit who tried on the entire mountain. There were 5 evacs and 1 death while I was there. I have you to thank for getting me in the shape that made it possible. I rocked the mountain! So thank you!
I can’t wait to tell you the whole story but just had to let you know i am safe and an official conquer of a 22,840 foot mountain.
Hope all is well,
Adam
