Since the end of September I’ve had a goal of adding a lot of new content to the website. Below are all the articles from the last 5 weeks. I will admit that some of them were a bit controversial which in most cases meant they led to productive questions and discussion. I learned a lot writing these articles and debating them with some of you both in person and via email. I hope you got something out of them too.
Do you like this sort of content on the website? Do you read it? Post your feedback to today’s comments.

Nice work Brian! And to all the rest of you on your first two level tests! You’ve all been very impressive.
Chris
I have enjoyed your articles and find them useful in thinking about programming for fitness, wellness, and individual sports. I fully endorse your “long term” goal of strength before 40. I can personally attest to the difficulty in increasing strength beyond 40 (well beyond 40.) I wish I were attempting to get “back” to a PR I set before 40, but I am trying to get new PRs, as I never went heavy when there was more bang for the buck (pun intended.) You young guys and girls—go for it.
Brian – nice job.
Chris – on content: I appreciate the improved/thoughtful content here, I like seeing this, and I do read it. My only comment is to include references (this is my issue with many blogs – little or no references.)
I like it and I read it. Especially they blog posts that spark my interset in what can end up being an hour or so of further research on a topic brought up. I consider the emerfit blog a very valuable component of the emerfit experience.
