Our Custom Training is designed for people who want more one-on-one coaching, custom program design, and accountability. Clients that enjoy the competition of our Basic Fitness Training may work with their coach to include some classes in their program.
Custom Training includes:
- Individual program designed for your goals and needs.
- One private coaching session per week (4/month).
- All the benefits of the Basic Fitness Membership

Examples
Example 1
Joe is recovering from knee surgery and knows it will be a while before he can complete some of the moves (e.g. squat) that are staples in Basic Fitness Training. Joe wants a custom program to help rehab his knee will adding upper body strength.
Joe trains at EmerFit 3 days a week. Mondays he trains with his coach working on upper body strength and review the previous week’s food log. Wednesdays he does rowing intervals or a long row. On Friday, Joe trains on his own doing a variety of rehab, core, and upper body strength exercises prescribed by his coach.
Example 2
Anna has completed two cycles of Basic Fitness Training and she is interested in learning the Olympic Lifts (Clean, Jerk and Snatch). She wants to complete at least one competition as she considers whether she wants to make Olympic Lifting her sport.
Anna decides to do 3 extra private training sessions to learn the basics of the lifts and competing. Then she starts Custom Training. She meets with her coach for technique work once a week and regularly submits video of her other weekly training. On every other Friday she trains with regular classes so she can see her friends and enjoy the competition.
Example 3
Vicky has never lifted weights before but she wants to lose 70 pounds and a friend recommended Emergent Fitness. Vicky decides to do a month of personal training so she can learn the movements, get help with her food, and build confidence. After her first month Vicky feels ready to train on her own with a weekly meeting with her coach.
