Getting Started

You have read about it and maybe watched the videos, now come try CrossFit!

We offer free tours of the facility and you can also schedule a free private 60 minute introduction to EmerFit by contacting us via our website.

If you know you are ready to get started we offer two options for those new to CrossFit:

Begin With Private Training
Elements Private Training is highly customized and the number sessions depends on you and your coach. Some clients choose to only utilize private training even after completing the initial Elements series. Rates for private training range from $50-$100 per session depending on the coach and the number of sessions purchased.

You will find the greatest success with private training if your needs or goals include:

  • weight loss and improved body composition
  • extra accountability
  • you have generally been sedentary
  • you are new to exercise
  • you are referred to us by a physician, physical therapist or chiropractor
  • you have specific performance oriented goals (triathlon, basketball, etc.)
  • you have significant health or orthopedic issues

Begin With Group Classes
The On Ramp class consists of two 60 minutes classes per week with an optional Saturday session. The program lasts for four weeks and costs $200. This program is designed for the generally active, injury free person who ultimately wants to join our regular CrossFit classes.

Moves covered include but are not limited to the following:

  • Basic Gymnastics – Squat, Push-up, Sit-up and Pull-up
  • Weighted Squats – Front Squat, Overhead Squat and Back Squat
  • Press – Strict and Push Press
  • Deadlift
  • Clean
  • Rowing
  • Thruster
  • Medicine Ball Throws
  • Basic Kettlebell Moves

CrossFit Classes

After completing the EmerFit Elements and/or On Ramp program athletes are welcome to participate in CrossFit classes. After a warm-up and possibly an exercise demo, athletes will complete a prescribed workout. Loads and exercises will be adjusted based on each person’s ability. Coaching is provided on an individual basis during the workout as needed. In some cases the workout may finish with other drills to facilitate recovery and/or teach new skills.

These classes will up the loads, skill requirements, and intensity from the Elements and On Ramps programs. However, scaling will still occur at the coaches discretion to reduce the risk of injury.

  • Monthly Options: After completing your Elements or On Ramp sessions choose between 2 classes a week for $100 a month or unlimited classes each week for $150.
  • Longer Term Options:
    • 3 Months: 2 classes per week for $250 or unlimited for $400.00
    • 6 Months: 2 classes per week for $500 or unlimited for $800.00
    • 12 Months: 2 classes per week for $900 or unlimited for $1,500.00

From time to time we will offer special seminars on topics ranging from nutrition to Olympic lifting to sport-specific training. Watch our calendar and join our mailing list to learn more about these events.
